The Inna Art Space presents “Eyes Moving A Pencil”, a solo exhibition by artist Liao Wenfeng. It is the artist’s first solo exhibition with the Inna Art Space. The exhibition presents new GIF animations and painted works produced by the artist. Through these works, Liao Wenfeng brings humour and sensitivity to the complex interrelations connecting reality, image and perception.

Liao Wenfeng, born 1984 in Jiangxi Province, China, graduated from the Total Art Studio of the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou in 2006. Since 2012 he lives in Berlin, where he completed a Masters degree at the Institute for Art in Context, University ofthe Arts, Berlin in 2016. In his artistic practice he works with video, GIF animation, photography and drawings to investigate the construction of visual play spaces between objects, the body and ideas in an everyday life context.
